Fits many Soteco models such as Koala 315E, 115, 429 and Panda 215, 429, 515, 629. Also fits machines badged by Soteco such as Truvox and Nilco.
This motor is a direct replacement for 42-VM-125. The essential difference is that 42-VM-125 is a very high specification motor, namely Class One Insulation. C1 Insulation is normally only specified by OEMs for original equipment construction; it is generally not considered necessary for spare part application. Even so it is a Double Insulated Motor and is exactly the same motor used by Soteco in the construction of their canister vacuums. 42-VM-125 is supplied with a pair of connection leads. 42-MT-145 often does not require leads for fitting.
