We always supply quality motor carbon brushes with three key features:
1. Our motor carbon brushes are made with the grade of carbon that was originally specified by the original manufacturer for the particular application. Why is the grade important? Because the grade chosen is dictated by the speed of the motor; e.g. high speed motors on upmarket machines are usually a higher grade.
2. Whenever available, our motor carbon brushes are manufactured with sandwich laminated construction (some of our competitors are still using block carbon). Why is the lamination important? Because it actually disperses the heat which is created by motor operation, preventing consequential arcing and early burn-out.
3. Our brush holders are always made from flame-retardant plastic. Even if overheating occurs when one of our brushes has been fitted, fire risk is minimized.
